Company A

A company approached us about our Total IT solution. They had one server and 45 PCs in their central office in Birmingham. They had 45 branches throughout the UK, each with 2 PCs. There were also 23 Laptop users. They all collected their emails through pop3. After an audit, we recommended and carried out the following:
  • Their server was decommissioned due to hardware unreliability
  • Two servers were leased from us with 0% interest
  • Installed MS Windows 2003 Server Standard on both servers
  • Installed MS Exchange 2003 Server Standard on one server
  • Three printers at every branch were replaced with one and then wirelessly shared
  • A small hub which was a bottleneck was replaced with a switch
  • All work (except printer replacements) carried out on a Sunday
  • Setup a bespoke website and registered with all popular search engines
  • All software licences were updated according to the law
